Former Red Wings Captain Nicklas Lidstrom sends his No. 5 jersey to the rafters of the Joe Louis Arena, and Detroit welcomes new center iceman David Legwand to the team.
The Red Wings Manager Ken Holland discusses the trade deadline decision, and Lidstrom explains his memories as a Red Wing during a press conference held in the Wings' locker room at the Joe Louis on March 5.
"There's something about being a Red Wing, but when you've been a Red Wings and you get your jersey retired you know that's something very special," said Lidstrom.
It was very interesting to hear what these two members of the team had to say about the recent events affecting the Detroit Red Wings.
Is Lidstrom satisfied with his career as a Red Wing?
Is Ken Holland excited about the new addition to the Detroit team?
